A 79-year-old woman was injured when the Chrysler she was driving crashed with a motorhome at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 371 at Birchdale Road, north of Baxter, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
Sally Amlie, of Humboldt and a seasonal resident of East Gull Lake, had serious injuries and was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
A motorhome driven by Michael D. Muzik, 58, Alexandria, was on Birchdale Road and Amlie was traveling on Highway 371. The state patrol said the motorhome failed to yield and the vehicles met at the intersection.
Muzik and his passenger, Lorraine A. Muzik, 60, Alexandria, were not injured.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
