A 31-year-old woman was injured when the vehicle she was driving crashed at 9:47 p.m. Monday on Barrows Avenue and Town Hall Street in Barrows, south of Brainerd.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office reported the driver went through the controlled intersection, struck the embankment on the far side of the ditch and crashed. The woman was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center where she was treated and then released.
The sheriff's office reported the woman had alcohol in her system and may be arrested for driving while intoxicated.
