A Grand Rapids woman was hurt Friday when the vehicle she was driving veered into the opposite lane of traffic and struck a Mack Truck head-on, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Sandra Johnson, 59, was driving at 8:15 a.m. east of Bena when she crashed into the truck, driven by Michael Thomas, 29, of Pinewood.
Johnson was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth with non life-threatening injuries.
No injuries were recorded for Thomas and his passenger.
