A woman was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries following a two-person, two-vehicle crash near Menahga Friday morning.

A Peterbilt semitrailer being driven by Rick A. Lund, 48, Virginia, was struck by a Saturn SL1 driven eastbound on Wadena County Road 16 by Meghan R. Templeton, 20, Laporte. The crash happened after Templeton ran a stop sign, hitting the semitrailer's rear trailer wheels, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 71 and County Road 16 near Menahga. Templeton was transported to St. Joseph's Area Health Services in Park Rapids, where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Lund suffered no apparent injuries from the crash.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, and Templeton's vehicle was totaled as a result of the crash.
