A 59-year-old Laporte woman was injured Friday when the Dodge Journey she was in drifted over the centerline and sideswiped a semitrailer on Highway 371 in Cass County, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.
Mary L. Fischer was traveling north on Highway 371 and a Kenworth construction truck and trailer, driven by Mathew J. Sautbine, 33, Walker, was traveling south. The state patrol said after the Dodge sideswiped the semitrailer they separated and the Dodge rolled twice and came to a rest on the southbound shoulder.
Fisher was taken to Essentia Health-Fargo, N.D. for non-life-threatening injuries. Sautbine had no apparent injuries.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
