HILL CITY-A woman was injured Tuesday when the Toyota Highlander she was a passenger in ran off the road and struck a tree.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Edward W. Leidenfrost, 89, Hill City, was driving southbound on Highway 169, a half mile north of Hill City in Aitkin County when the Toyota went off the road. Leidenfrost had no apparent injuries, but his spouse, Ardith M. Leidenfrost, 94, had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital in Grand Rapids.
The crash was reported at 3:40 p.m.
The Aitkin County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
