BIWABIK - One person was killed and another seriously injured after the vehicle they were in left the road and rolled several times along Minnesota Highway 135 near Biwabik on Tuesday.
Diana Olson, 48, of Embarrass, was killed in the rollover, the Minnesota State Patrol reported Wednesday.
A passenger in the vehicle, 46-year-old Gregory Olson of Hibbing, was transported to Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth. The hospital reported Gregory Olson to be in serious condition.
Diana Olson was driving a 2000 Chevy Blazer north on Highway 135 near milepost 14 when the vehicle went off the road, the Patrol said. The Blazer struck a sign and then rolled several times before coming to a rest back on the road, right-side up in the northbound lane.
The crash occurred just after 2:30 p.m. Conditions on the roadway were dry, the patrol said.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, the patrol said.
