HARDING -- A 31-year-old Pierz woman and her 3-year-old passenger suffered injuries Friday, Sept. 6, in an incident involving an all-terrain vehicle.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reported at 6:08 pm it received a report of an ATV accident with injuries at a residence on Quest Road, approximately 2 miles east of Harding, in Pulaski Township.
According to the sheriff’s office, Danielle Skwira was backing an ATV out of a shed on their property. The throttle stuck, causing the ATV to hit a barrier and roll on its side. Injuries to Skwira and the 3-year-old were minor, according to the sheriff’s office, and they were transported by private vehicle to Mille Lacs Health System hospital in Onamia.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Sullivan Lake First Response Team.
