Lakes Area Activism will host a Women’s March in Brainerd, in conjunction with the national march in Washington, D.C. Saturday, Oct. 17, and other events throughout the country.
The march will be at noon at Gregory Park in Brainerd
“We are taking action in the Brainerd Lakes Area to say that women will decide this election, defend its integrity, and work together for the future we need,” a news release from the group stated. “We are joining together with people from all walks of life to vote in record numbers, demand that every single vote is counted, and deliver our democracy.”
Social distancing and masks will be required.
