WORTHINGTON - A Worthington man is on trial for allegedly stabbing and murdering Blue Thyboualoy in an apparent fight over money that occurred last June in Worthington.
Chim Lo Van is charged with two counts of manslaughter, murder in the second and third degree and one count of second-degree assault.
According to the amended criminal complaint, Lo Van allegedly stabbed Thyboualoy in the abdomen and upper forearm on June 19, 2015. Thyboualoy allegedly refused immediate medical treatment and later died of his wounds at approximately 10 p.m. that night at Sanford Worthington Medical Center.
The trial is scheduled for the rest of the week.
