Have a short story, a sonnet or a verse of poetry?
The Brainerd Writers Alliance is seeking submissions from literary authors across Minnesota in the categories of fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry and Friday, Aug. 31, is the extended deadline for submission to this year's contest.
Winners in each category will receive a cash prize and free entry to this year's writers' conference featuring Erin Hart. Winners will also be invited to read their winning entries.
