Crow Wing County surpassed 4,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, while the deaths of six area residents were among those reported by the Minnesota Department of Health.

The deaths of a total of 139 Minnesotans were reported Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 5-6. This includes two Morrison County residents, ages 55-59 and 85-89, along with a person from Cass County, 80-84; Mille Lacs County, 65-69; Todd County, 75-79; and Wadena County, 40-44.

COVID-19 data as of Dec. 6

• Aitkin — 845 (+35 since Friday, Dec. 4), with 30 deaths.

• Cass — 1,611 (+64), with 13 (+1) deaths.

• Crow Wing — 4,003 (+106), with 40 deaths.

• Mille Lacs — 1,727 (+67), with 35 (+1) deaths.

• Morrison — 2,579 (+64), with 33 (+2) deaths.

• Todd — 1,983 (+66), with 15 (+1) deaths.

• Wadena — 914 (+35), with eight (+1) deaths.

NOTE: These numbers are cumulative since March 21 and many are out of isolation.
