Lakewood Health System now offers fracture care as part of its surgical care services. This includes the treatment of hip, femur, forearm, humerus, and foot and ankle fractures.

New to the fracture care services at Lakewood is the ability to care for patients needing treatment for hip and femur fractures, as well as certain humerus fractures. In the past, many patients needing this kind of treatment would have been transferred to another facility for care.

These services are available 24/7 for emergent care situations for basic and complex bone breaks. This full-spectrum orthopedic and podiatric care is provided by board-certified surgeons and includes integrated rehabilitation services all done at Lakewood Health System.

Services are available at Lakewood’s main campus in Staples. To schedule an appointment, call 218-894-1515 or visit Lakewood’s emergency department.
