New cases in Todd, Mille Lacs

Two area counties added new cases of COVID-19 Thursday, June 11.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported four new cases in Todd County, while Mille Lacs County added two new cases.

Todd remains the most significantly impacted area county.

  • Aitkin โ€” 13 (+0 since previous day).

  • Cass โ€” 11 (+0), with two deaths.

  • Crow Wing โ€” 88 (+0), with nine deaths.

  • Mille Lacs โ€” 26 (+2), with one death.

  • Morrison โ€” 53 (+0), with one death.

  • Todd โ€” 368 (+4), with two deaths.

  • Wadena โ€” 10 (+0).

NOTE: These numbers are cumulative since March 21 and many are likely out of isolation. The number of those no longer needing isolation is not reported on a county-level basis by the state.


  • Number of tests โ€” 354,226 (+27,615 since previous day).

  • Total positive cases โ€” 29,316 (+453).

  • Positive health care workers โ€” 2,973 (+88).

  • Age range with greatest number of cases โ€” 30-39 years old, with 20.3% of cases.

  • Currently hospitalized โ€” 411 (-16), with 196 (+3) in intensive care.

  • Total cases requiring hospitalization โ€” 3,482 (+41).

  • Total deaths โ€” 1,249 (+13).

  • Deaths among those in long-term care or assisted living โ€” 994 (+10).

  • No longer needing isolation โ€” 24,870 (+1,213).
