The number of cases of COVID-19 in north-central Minnesota did not change much Monday, June 1, with three more cases reported in Todd County and one more case reported in Morrison County.

The latest cases bring Todd’s total number to 319, while Morrison now has 47 reported.

A data adjustment made sometime last week meant a death originally attributed to a Cass County resident was reassigned to a different county. This brought the county’s death toll back down to two. Cass County Administrator Josh Stevenson said if cases are removed from the list, it was learned those people are not considered Cass County residents.

“We have found some errors between Cass County ND and Cass County MN data,” Stevenson said in an email. Cass County, North Dakota, is home to Fargo.

Data is for cases that were tested and returned positive. All data is preliminary and may change as cases are investigated. Many data points are collected during case interviews.

Data as of June 1

• Aitkin — 8.

• Cass — 14, with two deaths.

• Crow Wing — 71, with two deaths.

• Mille Lacs — 19, with one death.

• Morrison — 47.

• Todd — 319.

• Wadena — 10.

NOTE: These numbers are cumulative since March 21 and many are likely out of isolation. The number of those no longer needing isolation is not reported on a county-level basis by the state.

• Number of tests — 255,592.

• Total positive cases — 25,208.

• Positive health care workers — 2,725.

• Age range with greatest number of cases — 30-39 years old, with 20% of cases.

• Currently hospitalized — 549, with 253 in intensive care.

• Total cases requiring hospitalization — 3,086.

• Total deaths — 1,050.

• Deaths among those in long-term care or assisted living — 855.

• No longer needing isolation — 19,441.
