A webinar featuring area health care providers will examine the coronavirus from a local perspective.
Sponsored by the Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce and the Brainerd Dispatch, the Zoom teleconference is set for 1-2 p.m. Thursday, April 30, and will include Dr. Pete Henry, chief medical officer of Essentia Health; Kyle Bauer, CEO of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center; and Tim Rice, president and CEO of Lakewood Health System. The leaders will share what they are seeing and doing at the local level, including the steps hospitals have taken so far, how local health care systems have been financially impacted and the availability of personal protective equipment and medical devices.
