Flanagan pitches Bees past Springers

Burrell Flanagan pitched a complete as the Brainerd Bees defeated the Cold Spring Springers 6-1 in Lakewood League action Sunday at Adamson Field.

Flanagan allowed eight hits and just one earned run. He struck out one and walked one.

Tim Martin was 2-for-2 with a walk and sacrifice bunt for the Bees. Kevin Votaw hit an RBI double, Bryce Flanagan had a 2-run single and Paul Augustinak drove in a run with a bases-loaded walk.

Tyler Geislinger went the distance for Cold Spring. He permitted six hits and four earned runs with seven strikeouts and five walks.
