Hockey: Northern Lakes Youth Hockey to host 2 events
The Northern Lakes Youth Hockey Association invites boys and girls ages 4-9 to try hockey for free Nov. 4.
Try Hockey sessions are planned from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Breezy Point Sports Center and from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Hallett Community Center in Crosby.
Participants are asked to arrive roughly 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time to be fitted for equipment. NYHA will provide all necessary equipment for the sessions which are free of charge with no commitments.

The NLYA works to promote a fun, fair, and safe environment that maximizes participation and improves players' skills while developing sportsmanship, teamwork and self-confidence. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer-driven organization servicing youth in the school districts and communities of Aitkin, Crosby-Ironton, Crosslake, Pequot Lakes and Pine River-Backus.
