Brett Jenkins earned the win. He allowed just two hits and struck out four over six shutout innings.
Morgan Shepherd finished 3-4 and four others had multiple hits for the Lightning who outhit the Black Sox 16-4. Aaron Jenkins, Chris Peterson, Drew Boland and Kolton Michalski contributed doubles.

SOBIESKI-Joey Hanowski was near perfect at the plate for the Sobieski Skis in a seven-inning, 12-2, win over the Randall Cubs Saturday, June 15, in a West Division game.
He finished 4-4 with a home run, a walk, scored three runs and drove in three runs including an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh for a walk-off win via the 10-run rule.
Colin Eckman was 3-5 with a homer for the 7-1 Skis who avenged their only loss-a 2-1 defeat by the Cubs on opening day.
Dan Marod also homered and Riley Hirsch was 2-4 with a double.

AITKIN-Jon Blanchette went 3-3 with a double and an RBI for the Aitkin Steam in a 14-3, seven-inning, non-division loss to the Opole Bears Saturday, June 15.
Jake Lynn and Jeff Lehrke each singled twice for Aitkin which scored all three of its runs in the third inning.

Buckman 6, Lakers 3
PIERZ-Lane Girtz and Travis Kahl collected three hits apiece for the Buckman Billygoats who handed the Pierz Lakers their first loss of the season, 6-3, in an East Division game Friday, June 14.
The win moved Buckman into a tie for first place in the division with the Lakers, both teams own 6-1 records.
Kahl and Matt Tautges doubled for the Billygoats and Jeremy Monson picked up the win. He allowed six hits and two runs over seven innings.
Brad Meyer and Dan Saehr finished with two hits each for the Lakers and Paul Herman contributed a double.

PIERZ-Chad Weiss belted a three-run homer and Preston Rocheleau was 3-5 with a double for the Pierz Lakers in a 13-7 win over the Pierz Bulldogs Wednesday, June 12, in an East Division contest.
Weiss was also the winning pitcher. He struck out eight and allowed five runs on 10 hits over seven innings.
Chuck Boser, Logan Meyer and Mike Leidenfrost each doubled for the Bulldogs. Meyer and Leidenfrost had three hits apiece while Boser and Ryan Foreman finished with two hits each.
