Theodore Prescott Erickson
Theodore Prescott Erickson, 27, was taken off life support on April 14th, 2019. Theodore was in a tragic accident at work where he suffered an unserviceable brain injury. On Thursday, April 11th, 2019, Theo was declared brain dead. He made the heroic decision to be an organ donor and with his incredible sacrifice he saved 5 other lives.
Theodore was born in Brainerd, MN, June 15th, 1991 to George and Holly Erickson (Brodal).
Theodore graduated from Brainerd High School in 2010. He went on to attend college at Central Lakes Community College, Lakes Superior College, St. Catherine University and University of Minnesota Duluth. He graduated in May of 2018 from UMD with a Bachelors in Biochemistry. Theodore was pursuing his doctorate degree in optometry at Pacific University School of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR.
Theodore's greatest passion in life was his love for snowmobiling and weight lifting (gains made). He loved hiking, climbing and gaming. Theodore loved unlike any other person. He was a sensational positive force in a hard world. Theo was a kind and loving gentleman who pursued living life to its fullest potential.
Theodore overcame many hardships and challenges throughout his short time here, but he never let the things he could not do stop him from doing the things he could. Theo had the ability to make everyone feel like they were his person in life when in reality he was ours.
Throughout life Theodore looked to find the good and positive in this world. His love for inspirational quotes was shared with all of those he loved. The last quote he left us with is as follows, "Pain is temporary. It may last for a minute or an hour or a day, or even a year. But eventually, it will subside. And something else takes its place. If I quit however, it will last forever." Eric Thomas
