Agnes R. Wimmer

Agnes R. “Ag” Wimmer, age 92 of Baxter, formerly of Deerwood died at Diamond Willow in Baxter on September 25, 2021. She was born in St. Paul on June 15, 1929 to Henry and Clara (Long) Knaff. She graduated from Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, class of 1948. Ag married Alexander Wimmer on May 13, 1950 in St. Paul. She was a retired proofreader for The Wanderer Catholic Newspaper in St. Paul and was a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in St. Paul.

Ag is survived by her sons, Rick (Pat) Wimmer of Deerwood and Jim Wimmer of Woodbury; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Alexander; and 2 sisters, Lucille Wanshura and Mary Popelka.

A private family service was held. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
