Amber Crystal Foulkes (Meeks)

Amber Crystal Foulkes (Meeks) passed away suddenly at home on April 1st.

She was born on June 18th, 1982 in Bountiful, UT to Sheryl Barker and Donald Meeks. She moved to Minnesota in 1996. She graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School in 2000.

Amber is survived by her parents Sheryl and Tim Shelley Ironton, Don (Vica) Meeks Layton, sons Kaleb and Logan, daughters Brooke and Autumn, sisters Brandi Peek Brainerd, Chrissa Barnes Layton, UT, brother Steven Meeks Layton, UT, and her two special nephews Noah and Caiden Peek Brainerd. Also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and maternal grandparents Carla and Dorsey Barker Ironton.

Proceeded in her death by her brother Michael, her special Aunt Kris, her paternal grandparents, and her very special friend Dustin Mapson.

Amber was one of the sweetest kindest people a person could ever meet. She always knew how to make a person laugh or cheer them up. Each and every day, Amber fought whatever came in her way as she lived in honor of her kids. She put a smile on her face and tried to make the best of any given situation. Amber loved to clean, cook food for her kids, listen to music, and be there for her children. She would always help her kids with anything they needed help with and was the best mother any child could ever want. Amber will be truly missed but she will live on forever in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to Domestic Violence Awareness.
