Ann was born on August 28, 1923 in Crosby, MN to Gust and Rose Butorac. She graduated from Crosby High School and continued her education at Brainerd Community College. During WWII she went to Michigan to make parachutes for the US Armed Services. Back in Minnesota Ann applied her education to work as an accountant for local businesses. She was president of the Brainerd Campfire Girls organization and past president/lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Other service clubs she supported included the Lions, Elks, and the VFW. In 1946 Ann married Everett Anderson Sr. and they had two children Rosemary and Everett Jr. After Everett Sr. passed away in 1974, Ann continued to operate Anderson Dry Cleaners, the family business. Ann married Cecil “Sye” Majerus in December of 1976. Additionally, some of Ann’s hobbies included gardening, raking, and painting. Ann had an extensive cookbook collection so there was never a lack of baked goods in her kitchen. Even at the age of 85 she volunteered her time processing paperwork at Crow Wing Social Services. Faith was a driving factor for Ann. It inspired her compassion and generosity for others. She took great care of everyone around her and did anything she could to help. Attending church every Sunday was very important to Ann, and even during quarantine she made sure she attended virtually.

Ann is survived and forever remembered by her children, Rose (Jerry) Feriancek of Merrifield, MN, Everett (Laura) Anderson of Canada; grandchildren, J.D, (Bridget) Feriancek, Jill Feriancek, Simon Anderson, Bart (Aiza) Anderson, Adam Anderson, Heidi (Logan) Holtz; great- grandchildren, Cole Feriancek, Kaitlyn Perlinger, Lauren Perlinger, Ethan Perlinger, Zaitah Peterson, Tyler Holtz, Grace Holtz; brothers, George Butorac, Tom (Elaine) Butorac; God-child; Scott Smith.
