Barb J. Kulla, age 71, of Deer River, MN passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in Grand Rapids, MN. Barb was born in 1947 to Darrell and Shirley Emerson in Deer River, MN. She graduated from Deer River High School and from Itasca Community College. Barb worked as a Court Clerk for Crow Wing County for 26 years. She was gifted in working with her hands. Barb enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidery, and crocheting. Barb loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents. Barb is survived by her husband, Ron; daughter, Ronda (Dale) Price; grandchildren, Rylan and Kaelyn Price; sister, Joanne Dombovy; brother, Larry (Kim) Emerson; and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Deer River, MN followed by the 11:00 AM Memorial Service. Rev. James Anthony will officiate.
