Cynthia Lee Hogen, age 57, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Bethany Good Samaritan  Village in Brainerd, MN after a courageous battle with cancer.

A private family service will be held at a later date with burial to follow in the New Ulm Cemetery.

Cynthia is survived by her brothers, Scott (LaVonne) Hogen of New Ulm and Gary Hogen of Sleepy Eye; Nieces and nephews, Jody (Kevin) Braulick, Jessica (Derek) Nachreiner, Joshua (special friend Aubrey  Fischer), Jeremy, Jacob and Jeffrey Hogen; Great nieces and nephews, Leah, Claire and Luke Braulick and  Bristol, Emmitt and Odin Nachreiner; Aunt Helen Thorstad of Lake Crystal; cousins, friends and her pride  and joy, her dog Foxy.  She is preceded in death by her parents, George (Buddy) and Mary (Muggs) Hogen.

Cynthia Lee Hogen was born on July 5, 1963 and adopted by George and Mary Hogen. She graduated  from New Ulm Public High School in 1981. After graduation Cynthia lived and worked in Key West,  Florida for many years. In 1998, Cynthia moved to Brainerd MN to be closer to her parents and family.  She worked at Craguns Resort for 14 years and loved having her brothers, nieces, nephews and their  families come to visit and participate in activities with her at the resort. She was most recently  employed by Nortech Systems in Merrifield, MN.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bethany Good Samaritan Village for taking such good care of  our sister and aunt. Blessed be her memory.
