Dana Wayne Frank

Dana Wayne Frank age 67 of Franklin, NC Passed Away, August 6, 2020 after a short battle with cancer.

Dana was born April 18, 1953 to Gerald A and Joyce D (Walters) Frank in Mpls, Mn. Dana was a member of Mount Hope Baptist Church. Dana dedicated his life to various volunteer roles, The Courage Center Camp, The Lion’s Club and helping people, even stranger’s anyway he could. He shared his strong faith in God to everyone.  Dana was a talented real estate agent and entrepreneur.  He loved the Minnesota Twins and could talk for hours of his favorite team. He loved listening to music.  Dana enjoyed spending time with his family, he was a proud dad to his daughters and grandchildren.

He married the love of his life Wendy in 2012 and they moved to Franklin, NC for retirement in 2018.  Dana’s life changed in a blink of an eye, he lost the love of his life Wendy in May 2020 and a short time later received the news of his cancer. He fought so hard but lost his battle to cancer, God brought him home to spend eternal life in Heaven.

Dana is survived by his father, Gerald Frank (his friend Gina Nelson), Brother, John (Gail) Frank, Sister, Nancy (Ron) Hines, Daughter, Shari (Marty) Elmquist, Daughter, Lauri (Marv) Ellison. Step Daughter, Jenna (Danilo) Ferreira, Step Son’s Jake Lucht, Jesse Lucht, and Six Grandchildren. And his loving dog’s.

Dana was preceded in death by his Mother, Joyce (Walters) Frank and his Wife, Wendy Frank.
