Danny Ray Klicker

Danny “Elvis” Klicker, age 72, formerly of Faribault and Brainerd, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020, after a long battle with cancer at the New Brighton Villa Care Center, New Brighton, MN.

A gathering of Faribault area friends will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020, from 2-3:00 p.m. at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault. An additional gathering will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020, from Noon- 2:00 p.m. at Gregory Park, Brainerd.

Danny was born on December 6, 1947 in Fargo, ND. He grew up in Faribault and was formerly employed as a service worker at the Faribault Regional Center from 1979 until its closure in 1998. He then transferred to work at the Brainerd Regional Center from 1998 until his retirement in 2007.

Danny was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley and collected all of Elvis’ records, CDs, DVDs and memorabilia. He enjoyed being called Elvis, liked talking with friends about Elvis and visited Graceland at least twice. He loved shopping and eating out so he could visit with his many friends.

Danny is survived by many friends in the Faribault and Brainerd communities; especially Tom Hofius, Brainerd; Phil Larkin, Northfield; and Dean Nelson, Faribault.
