David Schroeder

David Lee Schroeder, 60, of Excelsior, passed away suddenly on June 14, 2020.

David was born March 30, 1960 to Roger and Jane Schroeder.

David enjoyed living his life to the fullest with family and friends. David was most proud of his 3 children and loved spending time with them. David’s passion for the outdoors included boating and waterskiing on Lake Minnewashta and the Whitefish Chain.

He blessed so many with his vivacious personality, infectious smile and kindhearted soul. He will be forever missed by so many including his four-legged shadow, Tug.

David is survived by his children, Sam, Ben, and Kaylee Schroeder; previous wife and mother to his children, Mary Kae Schroeder Guslander; mother Jane Schroeder; sister Susan Schroeder; aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Roger Schroeder.

A lakeside celebration will be held on Sunday, August 16 at 2:00 at Paul and Patty Schroeder’s, 36261 Spruce Trail, Pine River.
