Dawn Mezzenga

Dawn was born to Warren and Eva Cleator September 7, 1947.

Her children James (Wendy) Mezzenga, Eve (Kent) Minette, Jason

(Bridget) Mezzenga, and Chad Mezzenga were her world, along with grandchildren Dahne, Garrett, Alexis, and Jonathan. She felt so blessed to be great grandmother to Owen and Mila.

Dawn loved spending time with her family, her dog Dixie, her Saturday mornings with friends and family, and game nights with her family.

Dawn loved life with an exuberance that was contagious, her gardens and her involvement with the church.

Dawn grew up in Anoka but ventured to the Pequot Lakes and Crosslake area to raise her family. In her retirement years Dawn returned to Anoka to spend time with her parents.

Dawn passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2020 with her daughter by her side.

We will be celebrating Dawn’s life at Trinity Episcopal in Anoka on July 10, 2021 at 11 am.

Visitation will be at 10:30 and a luncheon held after the service.
