Fred Chamberlain

Fred D. Chamberlain, age 80 of Pine River, Minnesota, passed away on June 17, 2020. He was born to Charley and Fannie Chamberlain on November 26, 1939, in Pine River, Minnesota. Fred married Janice Petersen on November 24,1962 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She preceded him in death on July 5, 1991. Fred worked in the automotive industry for many years in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota. On March 19, 1994 he married Marilyn Wolkenhauer in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. He worked at TDS Telecom until his retirement. Fred enjoyed traveling, dancing and talking to anyone he met. Most of all he loved family.

Fred is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Pine River; daughters: Karen Witte of Whitehall, WI, and Karla Edwards (Chris) of Woodbury, MN; son, Tim (Cindy) of Franklin, WI; stepchildren: Shirley Taylor, Sharon (Lynn) Rolfson, Larry (Deb) Wolkenhauer, Joanne (Don) Coulter, Penny (Karl) Skog; 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice; son-in-law, John Witte; stepson, Gary Wolkenhauer; step sons-in-law, Tom Taylor and Jerry Mills; brothers, Cal (Mona) and Elmer (Marlene); sisters, Agnus and Doris.

Due to the COVID-19 virus a private family service was held at Maple Hill Lutheran Church. Interment will be held at a later date in Bloomington, MN. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
