AITKIN, Minn. - Gary A. Johnson, 79, Aitkin, Minn., died Thursday, Sept. 24, in Riverwood Health Care Center from complications of cancer.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 5, at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin. The Rev. Wendy Hjelmberg will officiate. Burial will be in Doris Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by Aitkin American Legion Lee Post 86 and VWF Roberts-Glad Post 1727.
