Glen F. Dingman

Glen F. Dingman, 85, of Great Falls, MT passed away on September 15, 2020 after a long illness. He was born in Clough Township, MN, on August 16, 1935, one of 12 children born to Herb and Verna (Batchelder) Dingman.
Glen is survived by 3 daughters: Dawn Becker (Rick), Patricia Poole (Dave) and Elizabeth Dingman (Bill); 3 grandchildren: Dan LaPorte, Amie Paoletti (Jeff) and Tyler Poole; 3 great grandchildren: Austyn LaPorte, Nora Paoletti and Audra Paoletti; brothers Guy ‘Mike’ and Forest ‘Butch’ Dingman; sister Sherry Mudgett (Frank), and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife Marilynn (Schow); his parents Herb and Verna; siblings Ila, Ward, Boyd, Don, Noel, Craig, Roberta and Rick.
Glen graduated from Pillager High School in 1953, served in the Air Force from 1954-1957, and worked at Potlatch in Brainerd, MN for 18 years. He and Marilynn enjoyed many years of travel, wintering mostly in Southern Alabama where they made many friends. Eventually Glen and Marilynn moved to MT to be closer to family and enjoyed the country life. Glen loved to play golf but his favorite activity was visiting with family and friends. He was a great carpenter, built 2 houses and numerous projects for his family.
A graveside service for both Glen and Marilynn is planned on Saturday, October 17, 2020, 11:00am at Fort Ripley Cemetery, located 14 miles S of Brainerd on Hwy 371.
