Hannah C. Zimmerman

Hannah Christine Zimmerman, age 86, resident of Brainerd, Minnesota, passed away quietly in her sleep on September 2, 2020 at the Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples, Minnesota. A Celebration of Hannah’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Nelson – Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Hannah was born to Ben and Elizabeth Rydberg on April 11, 1934 in Lake Park, Minnesota. She fell in love and married Ronald Zimmerman in 1972. Hannah and Ron have had many homes over the years, but finally settled in Brainerd, Minnesota. Hannah loved working with her hands and was gifted at all forms of arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed making things she could share and give to her family and friends.

Hannah was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl Vic; and sister, Alice. She will be missed and is survived by her husband, Ron; brother, Harry (Angie) Rydberg; sister-in-law, Jo (Hank) Greenwald; and many nieces and nephews.

Hannah’s family would like to thank the staff at Lakewood Care Center for their loving care of Hannah.
