Harvey S. Neuenfeldt

Harvey S. Neuenfeldt, age 98 of Cottage Grove, passed away December 14, 2020.   Private family services will be held.

Harvey Stewart Neuenfeldt was born March 6, 1922 in St. Paul to Otto and Rosemary (Jeroux) Neuenfeldt. He grew up in St. Paul and entered active duty in the US Navy in 1942 and was stationed at various places during WWII until his honorable discharge in 1945. He married the love of his life, Bernita Wilcox and moved to northern Minnesota where they raised their children in the areas of Nisswa and Baxter. Through the years he worked at a local farm, lumber yard and served as a building maintenance supervisor.

Because they lived on a lake, he loved being in God’s creation. He could always be found doing one of the following things: fishing or hunting.

He is survived by his children Nita (Michael) Meyer, Jo Marie (Ervin) Holder and Robert (Mona Vasquez) Neuenfeldt; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Bernita and grandson Timothy Meyer.   Arrangements with Kok Funeral Home www.kokfuneral.com
