James D. Haw

James Donald Haw, age 68 of Ironton died on May 26, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 1, 1951 in Minneapolis to Robert and Doris (Larson) Haw. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Jim married Jodi Borene on May 4, 2001 in Sisseton, SD. He was the former owner and operator of the Bridge Tavern north of Crosby.
Jim is survived by his wife, Jodi; son, Abe (Stacy) Haw of San Diego, CA; daughter, Melissa (Jamie) Drahos of Hutchinson; three brothers, William (Rhonda Hanson) Haw, Steven (Sandy) Haw and John Haw; one sister, Diane (George) Hippie; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay, Janelle, Dana and Nicole Matykiewicz; six grandchildren, Adelyne and Harlow Drahos, Logan, Aubree, Carter and Easton Haw and his faithful companion, Diddo.
Preceding Jim in death are his parents; one brother, Robert Haw; sister-in-law, Mary Haw
Private family services are being held. A Celebration of Jimโs Life will held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Myrin-James American Legion Post in Ironton from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Holmes City. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
