Janet Lee (Avery) Imgrund, wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away April 5, 2020 at Marisol Green Homes in Loveland, CO. Janet was united in marriage to Gerald “Jerry” Imgrund June 2, 1956. They lived most of their life in Thief River Falls, MN where Janet was an active member at Saint Bernard’s church and loved helping out in any way she could at her children’s schools. She was an active hockey mom for all three of her son’s, she would cheer for them all the while covering her eyes during the rough actions. She also worked as a hostess at the American Legion where she enjoyed being surrounded by her friends, co-workers and neighbors. Her youngest son Daniel has fond memories and appreciation of his mom helping him deliver the heavy Sunday newspapers. Janet was an excellent homemaker, caring for her children and husband first and foremost.

They made a big move to Colorado in 1989 to be near their daughter Karen. They settled down in Ft. Collins, and began to enjoy their grandchildren and retired life. Janet’s greatest joys were her children and her grandchildren. She hosted many sleepovers with her grand-kids and shared her love of cooking and telling “great stories”.

She always made everyone feel welcome.
