John H. Savaloja

John H. Savaloja, age 67 of Trommald died at his home on April 6, 2020 after 599 days of battling Glioblastoma. He was born on February 3, 1953 in Wadena to Harold and Shirley (Erckenbrack) Savaloja. John married Virginia “Ginny” Milberry on September 20, 2001 in Trommald. He was a retired Highway Technician with MNDOT with 29 years of service.

John is survived by his wife Ginny; his mother, Shirley Savaloja of Deerwood; one step son, Patrick Raverty of Brainerd; one step daughter, Erin (Neil) Erickson of Apple Valley; one brother, Bruce Savaloja of Wamego, Kansas; three sisters, Linda (Bud) Nelson of Deerwood, Cathy (John) Vidmar of Buffalo and Peggy (Dale) Roseir of Grand Rapids; two grandchildren, Maya and Emma Erickson.

Preceding John in death are is father, Harold in 2013; two brothers, Terry Savaloja in1992 and Mark Savaloja in 2003 and Goldie, the best dog ever.

A Service is being planned for a later date. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby
