Kristin Posner, 52 year old resident of Cushing, MN, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at her home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Lakewood Church in Baxter, MN, with Rev. Don Reigstad officiating. Burial will be at 4 pm on Saturday at Scandia Valley Cemetery in Cushing, MN. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 PM Saturday at the church.

Kristin was born on May 30, 1967 to Dale & Virginia (Hauck) Andersen in Milaca, MN. She attended school in Milaca until seventh grade, when her family moved to Lake Alexander, as her father took over his family farm. She attended Pillager High School, graduating in 1985. Kristin attended Bethel College, graduating in 1989 with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She married Randy Posner on December 16, 1989 and they lived in Bemidji, where Kristin worked at North Country Health Services. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree in May of 1999 and continued to work at NCHS. Most recently she has been employed at Lakewood Health System in Staples, MN. She loved to spend time on Lake Alexander and Lake Superior with her family, loved walking and biking and anything with her family. She also sang on a worship team at Lincoln Evangelical Free Church. Kristin is survived by her husband, Randy Posner; children Amber Kay, Annie Beth and Abraham Dale; parents, Dale and Virginia Andersen; sister, Pamela Kay Andersen and nephew, Carter, both of Georgia. Kristin was preceded in death by sister, Amy Beth Andersen; grandparents, Hans & Adeline Andersen and Victor and Irene Hauck.
