Lewis Anderson
Lewis (Lew) Anderson was born on October 9, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He passed away in his sleep on February 21, 2020 at 78 years young.
Lew, as many call him, was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Lucille and George Anderson. Lewis leaves behind his sister Peggy Melling (living in AZ), his two daughters Mykel Anderson and Stephanie Anderson, and two granddaughters Angie and Mia, and his best buddy, Fannie the dog, all living in Minnesota.
He served in the Minnesota Army National Guard. Lew was a proud member of the Masons. He achieved his lifelong dream to live on a lake! He started his career working at a bank in Camden and then in Robbinsdale, both in Minnesota. Then he was off to San Francisco, California for awhile. In 1997 he moved back to Minnesota and started his career at Woodlands National Bank in Onamia where he was the CEO/President until 2010. He continued to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors through 2018. Throughout the years, Lew has also served on the Board at Native American Bank and Pinnacle Bank.
Although we have lost his physical presence, his spirit will always remain in our hearts. He will be dearly missed and will be forever be with us.
Never one to want the spot light, Lew had requested that no services be held following his death. Therefore, in his honor, it would make him happy if all of us would take the time to enjoy our friends and family. Goodbye for now, Godspeed to heaven as many friends and family are anxiously waiting to welcome you.
