Lloyd Hansen

Lloyd Hansen, age 86, of Brainerd died Monday, February 17, 2020 in the comfort of his home. A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 2-4PM at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.

Lloyd was born on September 6, 1933 in Minneapolis to Mathias and Elma (Winkleman) Hansen. He married Nancy Simons on September 4, 1974 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Lloyd worked over 40 years as a “jack of all trades” for Madden’s Resort in Brainerd until his retirement. He loved animals and appreciated the comfort of his own home with the company of his loving wife. Lloyd enjoyed ventures up to the corner store to get the daily paper, and always read the paper front to back just to stay current on events. He was devoted, loyal, a little bullheaded, and had a great sense of humor. Simply said “he was Lloyd.” Lloyd will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Nancy; good friend, Barbara Kettlewell; his three fur-girls- Pippy, Tina, and Pixie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and 11 siblings. Brenny Family Funeral Chapel www.brenny.com 218-828-5051
