Lorraine I. “Lorri” Millam

Lorraine I. “Lorri” Millam, age 80 of Brainerd died on September 17, 2021 at the Lakewood Heath System in Staples. She was born on November 30, 1940 in White Earth Township, MN to Charles and Rosella (Norely) Durant. She graduated for the Bagley High School, class of 1958. Lorri was a contract postal carrier in the Crosby-Ironton area, was a local representative for Tupperware and served as a local first responder for many years. Lorri was owner and Secretary for M&L Trucking in Brainerd. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Baxter. She hosted the senior luncheons monthly at the church, as well as providing cakes for many area events.

Lorri is survived by her children, Chad (Denise) Millam of Big Lake, Mindy (Tim) Speldrich of Brainerd, Vindy (Darrell) Pulak of Nisswa, Cindy (Roger) Carlson of Brainerd, Sheree Davis of St. Petersburg, FL, Michael Millam of Williamsburg, VA and Jeff Millam of Brainerd; her sister, Marlys (Buddy) Merschman of Shevlin; fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceding Lorri in death are her parents; her husband, Marvin; three brothers, Hubert “Huck”,

Verne and Wayne Durant.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Baxter. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Township Cemetery. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
