Mary McGuire Duran

Mary McGuire Duran (Cline), Pequot Lakes, the beloved wife of Ron Duran, has gone home to be with the Lord. Mary passed away on July 22, 2019, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Mary was born January 7, 1948 in Mankato, MN, lived in various places throughout the US, and came full circle back to Pequot Lakes for her years of retirement. Mary graduated from Pequot Lakes High School in 1966. Mary is survived by her sisters, Carol (Mike) Hopkins, Nancy Shetka; brother William Cline; stepchildren, Molly McGuire Pittman, John (Elise) McGuire, Maggie (Rick) Trenary; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and fur babies.She was preceded in death by parents, Raymond Cline and Elaine Engel; and late husband, Michael McGuire. A visitation will be held at 10 AM, Friday, July 26, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Alice Catholic Church, Pequot Lakes. Arrangements with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
