Norman Ebinger
Norman Conrad Ebinger, age 98, of Brainerd, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Little Falls Care Center. A service for Norman will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home. A visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A luncheon will be held at the funeral home following burial.
Norman was born on June 13, 1922 in Brainerd to his father William Conrad Ebinger and his mother Mabel (Stowe) Ebinger. He met and fell in love with Irene Billman and the couple was united in marriage in 1941. Norman proudly served his country in the Sixth Ranger Battalion in the US Army during World War II. During that time, he earned a Silver Star, a Bronze Star, and a Purple Heart.
Norman is survived by his sons, Terry (Nancy) Ebinger, age 78, and Ronald (Sue) Ebinger, age 73; 4 grandsons and 4 granddaughters; 4 great grandsons, 8 great granddaughters, and one great great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Irene (1990); his sisters, Mavis, Orley, Jenny, and an infant sister, Della; his brothers, David, James, and William; and a grandson, William Conrad Ebinger (age 42, in 2012).
The family would like to thank Little Falls Care Center for the service they all provided for their father and appreciate all they did during this time.
