Harold “Chip” Harvey Holk Jr.

Harold “Chip” Harvey Holk Jr., passed away peacefully on September 10, 2022, at St. Joseph’s–Essentia Health in Brainerd, MN. He was born November 11, 1952, to Harold Sr. and June (Alice) Holk, in Park Rapids, MN. A celebration of life will be held in the Conference Room of Country Inn and Suites, Baxter, MN, Saturday, October 1st, 2022, 12:00 PM-3:00 PM.
Harold was proud to serve the people of Crow Wing County as a Deputy Sheriff. Unfortunately, he was injured while on duty, and subsequently retired from the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Department in 1987. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, Minnesota history, and antique collecting. He was proud of his children’s accomplishments, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Harold is survived by his children: daughter, Tanya Holk, and son, Todd Holk (Emilie), with his first wife, Karen Sullivan; his daughter, Stephanie Bollum (Luke), with his second wife, Christie Berg; his grandchildren: Michele, Gabby, Evan, Lila and Logan; His brothers: Dave Holk (Cheryl), Gary Holk, Alan Holk (Lynette), and sister: Cheryl Villegas (Dave); as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Judy Daily.
