Helen and Les belonged to Elim Lutheran Church in Fargo where they made life-long friends. They built a house in Moorhead and in 2000 did the same in Brainerd to be near all four grandchildren. Helen enjoyed reading and studying about many topics, and loved hiking, riding her bike, and creative projects. She and Les enjoyed traveling and visiting friends along the way. They were members of First Lutheran Church in Brainerd. She was a wonderful mom and grandma.
