Jennifer Denise Clasen (Myers), age 58 went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2022, surrounded by her family and in the loving arms of her husband. Jennifer was born in Worthington, MN in 1963. In the sixth grade, she and her family moved to Pequot Lakes, MN. She had the courage to ask Mike Clasen, her now husband, to their high school Sadie Hawkins dance and the rest was history.

Jennifer graduated from Pequot Lakes High School in 1981. Together, she and Mike attended Alexandria Technical College. At the age of 21, they married and started a family shortly after. Jennifer and Mike built a new house together that they made a home for their two children, Christopher and Ashley. Their children will always remember feeling a sense of safety and comfort that their parents provided when entering the home.

Jennifer’s passion was crafting and decorating. She was always reading magazines to stay current on the new design trends. Mike could always count on a delivery package being at the door when he got home from work. The holidays were times she wanted to make extra special for her family. She took great pride in her holiday tablescapes and stylish decor. Jennifer also loved spending her summers at the family cabin in Canada out fishing her family and beating them at cards.

For over 30 years Jennifer worked as an office manager at an accounting firm. She took a lot of pride in her work making sure everything was done meticulously. She was an irreplaceable asset to her work and the community.

When Jennifer’s two grandsons were born, it was very important for her to be in their lives. They gave her the fighting strength and the boys loved their Nana. She wholeheartedly cared about others and loved so deeply. Anyone who knew her would describe her as sophisticated, selfless, and proud.

Jennifer is survived by her mother, Arla (Heath) Myers; her husband, Michael Alan Clasen Pequot Lakes, MN; son, Christopher Clasen (Mauryah Burattini), Pequot Lakes, MN; daughter, Ashley (Clasen) Hanson (Christopher Hanson) , Pequot Lakes, MN; two grandchildren, Greyson Hanson, Wylder Clasen; nieces, Michelle and Angela Myers.
