Michael R. Lindner

Michael Ronald Lindner, 64, of Baxter, MN passed away peacefully at home on June 24, 2022. He was surrounded by loved ones.

Michael was born to Ronald and Dolores Lindner in Chicago, IL in 1958. After attending the Joseph P. Kennedy School for Exceptional Children in Chicago, Illinois, Michael graduated from Cavanaugh School in Crystal, Minnesota in 1979. He lived at a boarding school in Wayzata MN (Hammer School Residences) before moving to the Brainerd Lakes Area in 1987.

Michael was filled with love, warmth and kindness and he enjoyed visiting with others. He had many friends. He had a lot of interests including parties, artwork, reading, writing, travel, Broadway theater, movies, music and dancing. He also loved ice cream and French silk pie.

He will be remembered for his joyful spirit. He had the biggest smile, the warmest hugs and brought joy everywhere he went. His positive outlook, courage and kind nature will live on in those he left behind.

Michael’s faith in Jesus was important to him. Heaven gained an angel — he was truly cherished on this earth. We will miss him greatly and look forward to seeing him again in heaven.

Michael was predeceased by his father Ronald J Lindner. He is survived by his mother, Dolores Lindner of Baxter, and his siblings, William (Kay) Lindner of East Gull Lake, James (Jorie) Lindner of Pequot Lakes, Kim (Robert) Lindner-Slagter of Baxter, Dawn Lindner, Brainerd, Lisa (Billy) Lindner Hoffs of Brainerd, Daniel (Alissa) Lindner of Pillager; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center in Brainerd, on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 12:00 pm. Visitation 11:30 am.
