William “Bill” Koenke

William David Koenke, 74, of Garrison and Sun City, AZ, passed away at his home on Monday, January 24, 2022.

Private services will be held.

Bill was born September 7, 1947, in St. Paul, MN, the son of Vincent and Mary Ann (Pankake) Koenke. After graduating from high school, Bill’s entrepreneurial spirit took over. He was always looking for ways to help people – whether owning a laundromat, being a handyman, operating a car wash, or dabbling in real estate investments. Bill truly wanted to make things better and was always put other people first. He loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends. Bill will be dearly missed for his big smile and even bigger heart.

He is survived by his sisters, Etta Carrozza and Cynthia Duff; brother, John Koenke; nieces, Jennifer Fermaint, Lisa Koenke, and Angela Zarras; and nephews, Michael “John” George, Troy Koenke, Carson Koenke, and Marshall Koenke.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred, Jim, and Vincent “Pete” Koenke and his parents.
