Patricia Ann Loya

Patricia Ann Loya, age 81, resident Lake Shore, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Senior Class Care in Pequot Lakes, MN. Patricia was born on June 21, 1938 in Brainerd to Eino and Elma Marttila.

Patricia had a love for quilting and her family, she was married to Eugene Loya for 61 years. Patricia was always upbeat, happy and positive about life and was able to make everyone feel welcome around her.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene; children, Kristi (Don) Nelson, Greg (Denise), Brad (Heather); grandchildren, Tyler and Brett Nelson, Kelly (Derek) Jackson and Blake Loya, Caitlyn and Makenna Loya; great grandson, Owen Jackson; sister, Karen (Roger) Johnson; sister-in-law, Darlene (Jeff) Bolme and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Marttila.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa with Pastor Kari Williamson officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home.
