Patricia E. “Pat” Whitney

Patricia Elizabeth (Gee) Whitney, 80, of Crosby died Friday, April 30, 2021.
She was born on May 29, 1940 in New York, NY. to Samuel and Mildred Gee. She met her husband, Lyman, of 57 years through Canterbury Club in New Jersey, and lived the majority of her life in the Midwest.
She was involved in numerous religious and non-religious activities and organizations throughout her life. She volunteered at church starting as a teenager and stayed involved throughout the years. Her pinnacle moment with the Church was the culmination of a lifelong journey of faith and devotion when she was Ordained as a Priest of the Episcopal Church in 2021.
Her various activities and achievements included: all things Creative Memories, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Daughters of the Nile, Altar Guild, Girl Scouts, competitive swimming with Masters Swimming, and earning a black belt in Karate at the age of 70. She was an active and involved member of the Order of the Eastern Star for decades, having served in the roles of Worthy Matron and Grand Electa.
Survivors include her children - Elizabeth Sands (Scott Hudson) and Alicia Wyatt (Kevin); Niece - Barbara Ochs and grandchildren Drake, Gwynne, Adam and Rowan.
Memorial Services are 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 26th at the Koop Funeral Home Crosby, MN. An Eastern Star memorial service will be prior to the service at 10:30am.
